It's a Kidventure Sunday! We are thrilled to have the Kidventure and Genesis kids and shepherds lead us in worship today!
This morning we will witness the dedication of Mirabel Hiebert by her aunt, Jan Van Aertselaer. We are also privileged to have Jan speak to us about using our Spiritual Gifts in the world.
Today we will be led in contemplative worship through song, prayer, communion and the word of God. Join us as we welcome the Holy Spirit to change and renew us as we continue to contemplate the amazing Gifts of the Spirit!
This morning we will hear from Cathie Van Benthem and Cynthia Plett about how they have used their Spiritual Gifts in their own lives.
Today we will take some time to talk together about what we have learned about Spiritual Gifts these last two months. Join us as Krista dela Rosa leads us through a discussion about this rich topic.
Today is the first Sunday of Advent and we will light the Hope candle in preparation for Christmas. We will also be celebrating the dedication of Mira Bulala. Evert Busink, retired CRC pastor, will be here to conduct the dedication and to share a sermon with us.
On this second Sunday of Advent, we light the Peace candle. Through songs, prayer, communion and scripture, we contemplate our theme of "Advent on the Edges", considering the idea of Peace from the vantage point of two important women in the Christmas story - Mary and Elizabeth.
This morning, we light the candle of Joy. We are delighted to welcome back Brad Woods, who will share stories with us related to our theme of "Advent on the Edges", exploring through the lens of the shepherds how joy impacts the marginalized.
Today, we light the candle of Love and our friend Bob Van Aertselear speaks to us on our theme of "Advent on the Edges", exploring how Love moved foreigners, the Magi, to seek, find and worship the baby Jesus.
