He is full of mercy. So He gave us new life because of what Christ has done. He gave us life even when we were dead in sin. God\u2019s grace has saved you.<\/i><i>\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Ephesians 2:4-5 NIrV<\/p>\n<p>Today we\u2019ll look at pretty much the entire Bible in order to better understand God\u2019s love. We have already covered that God created us in His image, which sets us apart from the other creations. We have emotions, we can imagine, we can make our own decisions. And, we all know that there are good decisions and bad decisions; and this is where we\u2019ll start.<\/p>\n<p><b>Read Genesis 3:1 &#8211; 6\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>or watch this video<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"God&#039;s Story: The Fall\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/49016940?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211; Satan tells Eve that it\u2019s OK to break God rules. Have you ever told anyone that they should break a rule? Has anyone ever told you that you should break a rule? What did you do?<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211; Why are rules important? Do you always follow all of the rules? Why not?<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Well, when Eve broke the rule, that was the first sin ever. Now, because Adam and Eve had sinned, they could no longer live with God in the garden. How do you think Adam and Eve felt when they left God? How do you think God felt when He watched them leave?<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, that is not where the story ends. Because, God loves us too much to be apart from us forever. So, He has a plan, a plan that will bring us back to Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read Ephesians 2:4-5 and Romans 5:8 and John 3:16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first part of His plan was to send previews of what would come, so that people would be ready. These previews are found throughout the entire Old Testament. The story of Abraham and Isaac, the story of Moses, the story of David, the prophets, and the list goes on.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read Isaiah 9:6-7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 &#8211; Then when the time was right, Jesus came. How did Jesus come?<\/p>\n<p>Jesus made friends, he performed miracles, he taught people many things. But this is not where the plan ends.<\/p>\n<p><b>Read Matthew 27:38-54<\/b><\/p>\n<p>6- Do you think it was hard for Jesus to stick to the plan? Why or why not?<\/p>\n<p><b>Read Matthew 28:5-7<\/b><\/p>\n<p>7 &#8211; Thankfully, the story does not end with Jesus dead. What happened next? Why is it important to remember this part of the story?<\/p>\n<p>So, you see, the Bible is essentially one giant adventure story. It\u2019s the story of how a King\u00a0leaves his throne to go save the people he loves and defeat evil.<\/p>\n<h5>This week\u2019s challenge<\/h5>\n<p>We will never be able to fully comprehend the extent of God\u2019s love for us. But, the bible does give us many, many verses to help us understand it better.
