Suppose one of you says to them, &#8216;Go. I hope everything turns out fine for you. Keep warm. Eat well.&#8217; And suppose you do nothing about what they really need. Then what good have you done?&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/i>James 2:15-16<\/p>\n<p>This Sunday we talked about Charles Mulli and read a story about him and his family called &#8220;The Biggest Family in the World&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\"><a href=\"https:\/\/gnf.ca\/kv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/05\/family.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-231\" src=\"https:\/\/gnf.ca\/kv\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/05\/family.jpeg\" alt=\"family\" width=\"258\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Many kids thought that Charles Mulli and his family were from a long time ago, but they&#8217;re not! They&#8217;re alive and living today. Can you think of some ways they show generosity to others?<\/p>\n<p>Do you think it was always easy for them to be generous and trust that God would take care of them? What happened when they ran out of food one time? Do you remember? What happened when the new land God gave them ran out of water? How did God take care of them? <em>(answers are at the bottom)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This series is all about following Jesus and trying to be more like him, can you think of some ways that Charles Mulli is becoming more like Jesus? What are some things that you can learn from Charles that teach you to be more like Jesus?<\/p>\n<p>Read James 2:15-16. If Charles had seen the street children and saw that they needed help but did nothing to help them would he have been obeying God? What else does the song say you can you give?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">Pray together, thanking God for all the good things we have and that God will give you a heart that is generous and wants to share with others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>(When Charles and Esther ran out of food to feed their family, they prayed and God sent a woman with a truckload of food for them. And when their new land didn&#8217;t have enough water for them Charles prayed long and hard and God showed them where to dig a hole. After digging for two days they struck fresh, clean water.
