Jesus once said, “by this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (Jn. 13:35) Wow! Think about that a moment! Do others in your life know that you are a follower of Jesus Christ simply by how you love others or love them? And if they don’t know that you are a follower of Christ by your love for them. What is going on? Sounds kind of harsh doesn’t it? I can hear the objections. But what if a person is a real ‘pain in the neck’ to love? How am I supposed to love someone who does things that irritate me? Am I supposed to love an abusive partner? Is that possible? Sounds crazy doesn’t it? God’s love is crazy though…
